     The Kent Area Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Theodore Roosevelt High School Choir, is excited to announce our Business & Community Expo 2008 that will be held Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Roosevelt High School Gym and Cafeteria. This event is a great opportunity for you to garner exposure and showcase your business.  Last year’s event was a great success, and this year should prove to be even better. The Chamber is collaborating efforts with the Roosevelt High School Choir, and both groups are very excited to work together to sponsor a fun-filled and busy day with businesses, families, and Kent’s talented students entertaining us.

     Special features of the Kent Business & Community Expo include: Free admission,  business display tables in the Theodore Roosevelt High School Gymnasium, a “Taste of Kent” demonstration in the cafeteria where local restaurants will offer various samples of their cuisine, hand made crafts, and live entertainment will take place throughout the festivities in the TRHS Foyer.  “We anticipate well over 100 business, food and craft booths at the spring expo,” says Dennis Missimi, current President of the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce,  “This is an event for the entire family!” Everyone is encouraged to take part in person or through several sponsorship and advertising opportunities that are available.
