Woodsy's and KUSO (Kent United
Service Organizations) along with the Heritage Festival, are sponsoring
a just-for-fun chance for aspiring singers of all ages to perform at
Kent's downtown festival on July 1st.
Participants will be divided into
age groups of elementary, middle school, high school and adult. You can
sing along to any of our extensive Karaoke collection, or bring your own
music. Everyone who signs up will get to perform at the Woodsy's
rehearsal hall for friends and family who want to attend. Three
participants from each age group will be invited to sing their selection
on stage at the Heritage Festival.
The preliminary sessions will be
held on Saturdays in June. Registration forms are available at Woodsy's,
on the web site or from the links below. Lists of some of the available
titles are there as well, and many more selections are available for you
to choose from.
