The Bike Corral is being sponsored by The Portage
Hike and Bike Trail. The Corral will be located on East Main Street in
front of the Dry Cleaners. The Corral will provide a safe place to park
your bike. Cyclists are asked to bring their own locks, the rack will be
attended.
The Napa Classic Car Cruise-in will take place from
9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Registration will take place at NAPA from 9:00 – 11 :00
a.m.
The Kent Historical Society will be offering tours
of the Rowe Museum (above the Pufferbelly) from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Children’s Play Area- This area has been organized
by the Kent Junior Mothers and features 15 Children’s activity booths as
well as Kent Park’s and Recreation Athletic Events, South Water Street.
Train rides will depart the Home Savings Plaza ever
Hour and a half from 9:15 through 7:30 p.m. Call the Kent Chamber of
Commerce for pre-sale tickets or remaining tickets will be available the
day of the Festival.
Masonic Temple Tours will be available from Noon- 4
p.m., West Main Street.
Civil War Displays- North Water Street in front of
the Home Savings Drive-through.
PARTA Bus Shuttles will be available from 10 a.m. –
11:00 p.m. You can park at the Kent State University Student Center and
be dropped off at East Main and Depeyster Street every 15 minutes!
The Kent Stage will offer all day entertainment on
East Main Street.
The Jeff Graham Memorial Fireworks will take place
at 10:00 p.m.
