The Kent Area Chamber of Commerce and the Central Portage County Visitors Bureau in partnership with Time Warner Cable, will be maintaining the Portage County community Access Channel/Electronic Bulletin Board (channel 15) starting in February. The Community Access Channel’s Bulletin Pages are designed to provide the community and local non-profits groups/organizations with a way of communicating local news and events with other members of the community. Any non-profit or community event (sorry no direct advertising) can be sent to our office for placement on the electronic bulletin board. By maintaining the local information channel at our Information Center, we can better serve the community with timely and comprehensive updates to our local information channel. To submit a page request simply download the request form and e-mail or fax it back to our Information Center listed below.

Bulletin Page Guidelines

The Community Access Channel’s Bulletin Pages are designed to provide the city and local non-profits groups/organizations with a way of communicating local news and events with other members of the community.

This channel is not intended for business advertising and/or announcements. For example, any businesses such as restaurants, lawn care services, etc. that want to advertise products or services and/or solicit business from the community, must contact Time Warner Cable’s Advertising Department. All business requests are considered "paid advertising" and will be placed on the LINK Channel located on Channel 15.

Community Access Guidelines for Bulletin Pages:

	All bulletin page requests must be received at least 1 week prior to the event/fundraiser/announcement. Note: The Community Bulletin Channel is only for usage by non-profit groups and for community related announcements – absolutely no business advertising and/or solicitation.
	Organizations and groups must fill out the Community Bulletin Channel form to submit a page request and return it to the designated channel operator. The information should include: who, what, where, etc. Note: Only one page per event/fundraiser/announcement.
	Requests will run for 1 week unless approved for an extension by the designated channel operator.
	Page changes and additions are made each week as designated by the channel operator.
	Community Bulletin pages remain on the screen for 15-20 seconds.
