bulletKent Historical Society: This organization, headquartered at 152 Franklin Ave., above the Pufferbelly Restaurant, works to preserve, protect, and promote Kent history. Membership is open. bulletKent Jaycees: The club is open to men and women between the ages of 21 and 40. It meets at 7 p.m. for social hour and then conducts an 8 p.m. meeting on the second Wednesday of the month in the Marvin Kent train car, located just south of the Pufferbelly Restaurant on Franklin Avenue. bulletKent Lions Club: The club, founded in 1946, is active in sight preservation, eye research and drug education programs. The club meets every Thursday at noon in the Kent United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Call Jeff Langstaff at (330) 673-8145 for more information.

 

bulletKent United Services Organization Inc.: The group is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to organize public events to celebrate Kent’s heritage, socialize with fellow citizens and friends and provide activities to perpetuate the city’s traditions. bulletMoms Club of Ravenna is a support group for stay at home moms and their children in the Kent-Ravenna area.  We offer playgroups, day outings, lunch dates, Mom's night out and various other get together.  We are here to support stay at home moms and their decision to be home with their children.  Mom's may bring their children to every event and are encouraged to do so.  Our website is www.momsclubofravenna.com.  We can be contacted at join@momsclubofravenna.com
