A community awareness event on the drug epidemic in Portage County is set for Saturday, February 11 from 10 am-noon at the NEW Center Ballroom at NEOMED in Rootstown. The presentation will include information about the drug overdose crisis, the addiction process, local resources, and a distribution of naloxone through Project DAWN.
The event is free an open to the public. It is being hosted by NEOMED in collaboration with the Mental Health & Recovery Board, Townhall II, and the Portage County Health District.
