IBH Addiction Recovery Center will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary Gala on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at the John S. Knight Center in Akron, Ohio ~ this event will celebrate 50 years of saving people’s lives! The Restoring Hope Award will be presented to the County of Summit ADM Board for their many years of support to IBH Addiction Recovery Center. Timothy and Aleta Killian and Dan and Sherida Pohl are serving as Honorary Co-Chairs of the Gala as they have been champions for IBH Addiction Recovery Center supporting us with their time, talents, and treasures. Our mission is to offer adult men and women afflicted with alcohol and drug addiction the opportunity to restore hope and gain skills for a lifetime of sobriety. IBH’s focus has expanded to include other drugs of choice, multiple addictions, and mental health issues. For 50 years, IBH Addiction Recovery Center has provided residential treatment to help nearly 17,000 people who have suffered from drug or alcohol addiction. Today, people addicted to opiates comprise most of our clients. IBH Addiction Recovery Center also helps our clients to reconnect with themselves, their families, and their communities, and live productive, purpose-driven lives.
