Deborah F. Spake, Ph.D. will be our featured guest speaker.
Dean Spake’s title for her lunch talk is: “The Business School Next Door”
She will discuss opportunities to support local businesses, share resources and ideas, and information on programs of interest to the local community.
Deborah is Dean of the College of Business Administration and Professor of Marketing at Kent State University. Deborah currently serves on the Initial Accreditation Committee (IAC) for the Association to Advance Colleges and Schools of Business, International – the leading accreditor of colleges and schools of business. She previously served as President of the MidAmerican Business Deans Association and past-Executive Director of the Society for Marketing Advances. She is a 2021 recipient of the American Marketing Association - Higher Education Special Interest Group – Lifetime Achievement Award. Prior to her academic career, she was the Marketing Research Director of a publishing company and, later, worked for consulting firms specializing in marketing research and strategic planning in Atlanta, Georgia.
