    Event Description:
    PGA Tour Professional Ben Curtis will serve as the keynote speaker for Leadership Portage County’s 2017 Leadership Conference and Showcase, “Leading with Vision.”
     
    Showcase booth space is available for businesses and other organizations wishing to network with and highlight their goods and services to conference attendees.  The booth rental fee is $150 for businesses and $125 for nonprofit organizations and includes one admission to the conference.
     
    The cost to attend the conference is $99.  Leadership Portage County Alumni and members of area chambers of commerce may register at the reduced fee of $79.  The price of admission includes a Continental breakfast and buffet lunch.

    Multiple speakers will present during the day long conference which focuses on leading with vision to serve as a catalyst for positive change.  During his presentation titled “Beyond Fairways and Greens” keynote speaker Ben Curtis’ will share his motivation for starting the Ben Curtis Family Foundation to help alleviate childhood hunger.
     
    Session one features Hugh Littleton, Director Learning Design Solutions for Cuyahoga Community College.  Littleton was recognized as the 2014 Keynote Speaker of the Year by Cleveland Business Connect magazine. He will discuss working with emotional intelligence.
     
    Session two features Tami Lewis of Training with T, who will address the topic of finding your happiness as a leader.  Ms. Lewis is an accomplished leader with an outstanding record of leading organizations to improve client satisfaction and customer service.
     
    Session three features Andrew Malitz General Manager of Sequoia Wellness and Director of The New Center at NEOMED.  Mr. Malitz interactive presentation highlights wellness if the workplace.
     
    Session four features Ed Ogden, Public Relations Manager with Airship Operations at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.  Corporate responsibility and community engagement will be highlighted during Mr. Ogden’s presentation.
     
    Session five features Pete Elliott, U.S. Marshall for the Northern District of Ohio.  During his presentation Marshall Elliott will share insights regarding collaboration toward a shared goal.
     
    Presenting sponsors for the conference are Sequoia Wellness/Northeast Ohio College of Medicine and Kent State University. Platinum sponsors for the event are Allen Aircraft, The Burbick Foundation and the Record Courier.  AMETEK is the Gold Sponsor and Woodlands Health and Rehabilitation is the Silver sponsor.  Goodwill Industries is our community partner for the event.
