The event will take place on Franklin Ave. and W. Erie St. in downtown Kent. Local eateries will be set up on the street, selling specially prepared German foods. Vendors will include Erie Street Kitchen, Burnside Barbecue, Brimfield Bread Oven, Ray’s Place, Grazers, Scratch, Treno, and Kent Cheesemonger. Popped! will also be serving up beer-roasted nuts and other tasty fall treats for the event. Be prepared to make some tough choices – there will be brats, pierogis, schnitzel, pretzels, sauerkraut, and plenty of seasonal beverages on hand.
Two beer trucks, featuring the popular Spaten Oktoberfest, several seasonal beers and cider, will be situated on Franklin Ave. and Erie St. The Main Street Kent ticket booth will be located near Ray’s Place, where attendees can purchase commemorative Oktoberfest beer mugs: for $10, event-goers can purchase a 16 oz. mug with one beer ticket. Additional beer tickets will be sold for $5 each. There will also be a limited quantity of special edition 1-liter beer mugs available for $25, including two beer tickets. All are available on a first come, first serve basis.
