    Event Description:
    The thirteenth annual Main Street Kent Art & Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, June 1st, from 12pm to 9pm in downtown Kent. Sections of N. Water St., W. Main Street, and Franklin Ave. will be filled with fifty artists from all over Ohio, several local food vendors, and ten Ohio wineries.

    Guests will enjoy live music at the Hometown Bank plaza stage all day. The event is free to attend and all are welcome (please leave pets at home, though).

     
    This year's lineup includes the following ten Ohio wineries, with two new ones joining the event for the first time: Barrel Run Crossing, Cana Valley Winery (new), CLE Urban Winery (new), Gervasi Vineyard, It's Your Winery, Nauti Vine Winery, Troutman Vineyards, West Main Street Winery, Western Reserve Meadery, and the Winery at Wolf Creek. Guests will be able to participate in wine tasting for $20. This fee includes a commemorative wine tasting glass and ten taste tickets, which can be purchased at the Main Street Kent booth located on N. Water St. Additional taste tickets will be available for $1 each.
    Proceeds will benefit Main Street Kent, the non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion, beautification and preservation of downtown Kent.

    Delicious
    food, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available from Brimfield Bread Oven, Burnside Barbecue, Erie Street Kitchen, Popped!, Roll Call Burgers & Fries, Scratch, Premier Crepes, and Sauced Wood Fired Pizza.

    The live music schedule features: Randy Horvath (12pm), Petersilge Sisters (2pm), Diana Chittester Band (4:30pm), and Cory Grinder Band (7pm). The generosity of the following organizations has made this event possible: KSU College of the Arts, Hometown Bank, Acorn Alley, College Town Kent, AMETEK, KSU Ashtabula Viticulture & Enology, Hall-Green Insurance, WNIR and The Summit FM.

    Visitors are also encouraged to explore public art throughout the downtown district, visit restaurants, bars and shops, making for a fun-filled day or whole weekend in Kent.     Main Street Kent is a non-profit organization focused on the revitalization of downtown Kent. It is an affiliate of the national Main Street program and the Heritage Ohio program.
