Main Street Kent Announces "The Run That Shall Not be Named" for Friday, July 27 Kent, Ohio - The Wizardly World of Kent planning committee is excited to announce "The Run That Shall Not Be Named" 5 3/4 K Fun Run will take participants on a magical journey through the Kent State campus at dusk on Friday, July 27 to kick off Wizardly World of Kent 2018, with the main event schedule for Saturday, July 28 in downtown Kent. The 5 3/4 K will begin at 7:30 p.m. under the arch on the Lester Left on Esplanade, taking runners on a spellbinding loop through some of Kent State's most magnificent places. Participants are highly encouraged to dress in magically themed costumes, and several photo opportunities will be located along the course for seflies and group pictures.
Registration for the race is $40 and includes a race medal and event t-shirt. This race is open to a maximum of 750 participants. Registration begins on March 15 and information is available at:

*The noncompetitive race will not be "chip timed;" runners/walkers may have to slow down for moving vehicles at road crossings; the course will be staffed with volunteers to assist with safe crossing.
