Covey is the chief executive officer and president of The Davey Tree Expert Company. Pat joined Davey Tree in 1991 as internal auditor, and has held positions of increasing responsibilities over the last 25 years, especially within the company’s utility division and Davey Resource Group.
He was named president and chief operating officer in 2016, and was promoted to his current position in July of 2017.
Pat has a business degree in finance, banking and accounting from the University of Wisconsin, and serves on the board for the Portage County Development Board, the Arbor Day Foundation, and Environmental Design, Inc. He is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
