The holidays are here! This December, the Kent Jaycees will host its annual Polar Express event at the Marvin Kent Train car in downtown Kent. Families are invited to wear their pajamas in traditional Polar Express style and visit our train car for a reading of Chris Van Allsburg's book, The Polar Express. In addition to reading The Polar Express together, children and their families will also have the chance to meet Santa, share their Christmas lists with him and receive a gift to take home. Each family will have the opportunity to sit with Santa, and a professional photo will be taken of them, which they can download from our website for free after the event. Cookies and hot chocolate will also be there for both adults and children.
