Join us for the 2nd Annual Barktober Howl-O-Ween 5K and 1-Mile Walk benefiting the Portage Animal Protective League. Bring the family, including your leashed dogs, to this fun run and walk around Kent State University. This event is being sponsored in part by the Kent State Student Group, 4 the Love of Paws.
Our goal for the event is to raise money for the Portage APL in order for them to continue their great work in helping animals in our area. The Portage APL has been caring for abandoned, sick, and injured pets since 1955.
The APL is a not-for-profit humane society that receives no government funding and is run solely on the donations from organizations, businesses, and people like you within the community. Included with your registration: T-shirt (guaranteed if registered on/before October 1st), age group placers and post race snacks and water. Top 3 finishers will receive a swag bag courtesy of GV Art.
