Run the World 5K

The new Run the World Race Series is a collaborative effort between the colleges and regional campuses within Kent State University and the Office of Global Education to raise money for study abroad student scholarships. The 5th Anniversary of Run the World will be held on Kent State’s Kent Campus in September! Come join the fun!

Run the World Race Series is a 5K community walk/run organized by the colleges and regional campuses of Kent State University, as well as the Office of Global Education to raise money for education abroad student scholarships. 

The 5th Anniversary Run the World 5K will take place Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. The start and finish line will be at Risman Plaza (in between the Student Center and University Library) at Kent State.

Kent State Students: Registration for the race will also include you in a chance to win one of multiple $1,000 scholarships toward an education abroad experience. The education abroad program must be a Kent State or exchange program. See the Office of Global Education to determine if your interested program qualifies. Students must register for the race to be qualified.
