UH Portage Medical Center & the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in a symposium about the impacts of opioids, and the interventions and resources avaialble to those rady to take the first steps to managing the chronic disease of addition.
The symposium -- a collaborative effort between UH, KACC and Aurora, Ravenna and Streetsboro Chambers of Commerce -- will convene experts from addiction recovery, emergency services, primary care and pain medicine to discuss the impact of opioids in our community, new medical treatments and interventions to help reduce the harms associates with opioid use.
