              Event Description:
              Main Street Kent is excited to announce the Wizardly World of Kent event, to take place in downtown Kent on Saturday, July 28th.

              This will be an opportunity for wizard and magic fans of all ages to come together and enjoy the wonders of downtown Kent, complete with costume contests for kids and adults, live music, crafts, potion classes, photo booths, vendors, face painting, and more.

              Many downtown businesses will participate, offering crafts, activities and special menu items in the spirit of the event. The Hometown Bank Plaza, Dan Smith Community Park and other public areas will be home to a variety of great activities and entertainment throughout the day. The event planning committee is diligently working on the event layout, entertainment, activities, and a magical day for visitors and residents of downtown Kent. Vendor applications will be available beginning February 1, 2018; more details will be released at that time on the Facebook page               www.facebook.com/wizardlyworldofkent and the Main Street Kent website www.mainstreetkent.org.

              Currently, event sponsors include Acorn Alley, College Town Kent, Portage Community Bank, and Off the Wagon, all who are excited to support this spinoff event after tremendously successful Kent Potterfest events in 2016 and 2017.               Main Street Kent is a non-profit organization focused on the revitalization of downtown Kent. It is an affiliate of the national Main Street program and the Heritage Ohio program.
