On Tuesday, August 20th from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm, the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Kent and College Town Kent will welcome incoming Kent State freshmen to downtown Kent.
Businesses are encouraged to open your doors, feature a Welcome to Kent Sale, set up sidewalk style, offer discounts, etc.
For businesses/organizations not physically located downtown who want to participate, you are welcome to set up a table/tent in Hometown Bank Plaza starting at 11:00 am. The students will be brought downtown via Lolly the Trolley around 11:30 am.
It’s first-come, first-set up! Please let the KACC office know if you plan to participate so we can direct the students to the Plaza area.
This is your opportunity to get in front of brand new, potential customers and show off your business, as well as your KSU blue and gold pride!
Please help us welcome Kent’s newest residents to their new, home away from home!
